This work was created during my internship at the Wirtschaftsakademie Nord. For my first attempt at gravure printing, I chose a motif inspired by the movie quote “Why be you when you can be new?” from the film Robots. The piece reflects today’s distorted ideals of beauty and the pressure to constantly reinvent oneself.
